Are you brave enough to face the The harmery challenge?

Push past the Pumpkin Spice and onto some fearless flavors based off dishes we love and turned into ice cream! The harmery is back to challenge the conception of what ice cream can be. Halloween is when we get a little wild...this year we’re pulling inspiration from bold flavors across Asia.

This annual challenge is meant to stretch the limits of what your mind and palette can accept as ice cream- they are intended to challenge your perceptions.

From Thursday October 30th through Sunday November 2nd come to any Charmery location to take The harmery challenge!

Costumes optional, bravery required.

From Thursday, October 30th to Sunday, November 2nd, guests can participate in The harmery challenge for $9.79, which includes a kiddie scoop of each of the four flavors. Available at all locations!

The harmery take home packages will also available for purchase! A thrill-seeking at-home ice cream taster can be purchased with scoops of all four flavors. Available in limited quantities at all locations.

The harmery Flavors

  • Chili Crisp

    Some like it hot- we like it hot AND crispy! Our first flavor of The harmery is Chili Crisp! We give thanks to Tao Huabi, the Godmother of Chili Sauce as we pair her Lao Gan Ma Chili Crisp with our ice cream.

  • Hong Dou Tang

    Warm dessert soul in ice cream scoop form! Hong Dou Tang is an East Asian warm dessert red bean soup often with tangerine, lotus seed, and mochi! This centuries-old favorite is known for its gentle sweetness and creamy comfort.

  • Coconut Ginger Wasabi (VEGAN)

    Why shouldn’t ice cream have plot twists? Coconut Ginger Wasabi (Vegan) is sweet now...spicy later! 

  • Tikka Masala Pizza

    A love letter to every pizza place that also served samosas. Tikka Masala Pizza is a standout in Baltimore’s culinary fusion history. It doesn't make sense until that first bite when it makes complete sense. Some flavors aren't invented...they just happen when worlds overlap.
